I was always interested in learning about people and their experiences, and had set off to be a Psychology major. I was always creative, playing with Legos and only being limited by my imagination. However, I was not always aware of how both these facets could harmoniously operate — until I learned about human centered design.
As I switched track to pursue a B.S. in Human Centered Design, I recognized my passion for creating experiences defined by understanding the people they are intended for.
From achieving high standing in an interior design competition, to being involved in the inception of a software startup, to working in the financial technology industry, I have come to understand that success of a design is as much success for a business as it is for a user. One shall not come at the cost of the other, and I am driven by the fascinating challenges that come with the creative pragmatism of designing functional and delightful experiences.
In my free time, you can find me tinkering with web development, watching/playing soccer, attempting a new rock climbing course, or dogsitting!
